5 - I will paddle back out
Life is full of challenges as is recovery. How a person handles those challenges can make the difference between staying sober or returning to active addiction. To paddle back out most simply means to not give up. Individuals in recovery might encounter a relapse at some point in their journey. This can be a traumatizing experience and may be viewed as a failure.
Instead of focusing on the negative aspects, individuals can beneļ¬t more by viewing the event as a growth experience
and commit more fully to their recovery program.
